We arrive with a fully equipped mobile workshop and sharpen, balance, and set tension so tools perform like new.
Every edge is test-cut and quality checked, then handed back protected and ready to work. Care tips included, with a process that keeps tools in service longer.
We work out of a home workshop near Downtown Richmond, where we receive drop-offs by appointment. We also travel to customers with our mobile sharpening workshop, bringing professional results directly to salons, grooming studios, kitchens, and homes. In addition, we host regular pop-ups around Richmond — follow us on Instagram @StaySharpRVA for the latest schedule and locations.
We sharpen a wide range of tools, from professional shears and clipper blades for stylists, barbers, and groomers to kitchen knives, sewing shears, hobby tools, and garden equipment. A complete list of services is included below so you can quickly see if your tools are covered.
We sharpen almost anything! We do not offer sharpening for saws, including hand saws, circular saw blades or chain saws, at this time.

Most home chefs get their knives sharpened every 6-12 months.
Groomers sharpen their shears every 1-3 months.
Commercial kitchens and food processors sharpen once a month.
Stylists are barbers wait anywhere from 3-9 months.
Mobile services and pop-ups are done while you wait! Drop-offs are typically ready for pickup within 3 business days.
We prefer cash or check! Credit cards are fine, but may incur a 3% processing fee.
